Mery and Carlos Bermeo have begun a new church in Cuenca. After working in such hard ground as Azogues, they have been blessed with a more fruitful field and have around ninety attending at this writing!
Having been in faithful in church planting ministry since 1992 it's a joy to see them with a growing second church. They have to supplement their income doing various jobs. In Azogues, Ecuador, they have broken hard ground to raise up their first congregation. That congregation is also prospering in recent months. In Cuenca they are involved in ministry at a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center besides the church planting ministry. They also serve as chaplains for a medical clinic. Mission Support Team helps with their monthly support.
