Cuenca Ecuador
Berta and Sigfredo Carrion have been working in evangelism, church planting, teaching and counseling for a number of years. At present they are developing, to a greater extent, the leaders that God has placed under their ministry. Ninety percent of their support comes from the church they pastor, but Missions Support Team supports them on a monthly basis, as well.
They have recently acquired a new church building and it came with a Christian elementary school. They need more students to make it a viable self-supporting facet of the ministry. Please pray for that. The Lord has blessed them with favor and they have a good team working with them to accomplish all of these things.
The leaders of this church in Cuenca (Comunidad Cristiana Arbol de Vida) are working with several little churches in the north of Ecuador, teaching them a leadership course, and ministering to the needs of the people.
